Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator working together

Sometimes, when we are working in photoshop, we want to draw or create a shape that would just be easier to do in Illustrator. And sometimes when we are in Illustrator, we want to use a raster-based image for a background, or texture. And sometimes we have we have a texture or graphic in photoshop that we wish we could vectorize. All of this situations are dependent on Photoshop and illustrator working together. The following brief movies will give some insight to how Photoshop and Illustrator can bring graphics into each other.

    Warning: when using this method, you must always keep your Photoshop file (.psd) and Illustrator file (.ai) together in the same folder!
